For MTC Project #2, we are proud to partner with Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post - 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

Politics, a polarizing word in whatever context it appears in, but one that must be discussed and shared no matter what. With the upcoming election, I thought it was a relevant time to share some personal experiences that highlighted the importance of why I vote in not only presidential elections but also local ones wherever one resides. I used to identify myself as a non-political but that slowly changed after facing a variety of experiences living in Ukraine, the U.S., and Denmark. I came to the realization that I do have a duty because at the end of the day it’s not only a vote, it’s a voice.

This Indonesian coffee comes from the Toraja region in Sulawesi and produces a balanced cup with low acidity and tasting notes of dark chocolate, walnut, granola and raisin. Think chocolatey granola in liquid coffee form, plus a healthy dose of caffeine! It also makes for an excellent espresso.⁠

We are beyond excited to introduce our latest coffee sourced from Guatemala and entirely female-farmer produced! Not only is this high quality coffee filled with notes of dark chocolate, brown sugar, and plum, but its inception is also one tiny step towards achieving gender equality within the coffee industry in Guatemala. In Guatemala, gender equality remains a challenge, and coffee has long been a male-dominated industry. These factors have made it incredibly difficult for women to compete and thrive in the coffee world.

The Bivvi combines everything you love about staying in hostels while allowing easy access to the best that Breck has to offer year-round. Located on the south side of town, the Bivvi is the perfect basecamp whether you are looking to mountain bike in the summer or ski in the winter, and with a lower price tag than the surrounding hotels and resorts. We love sharing our coffee with the Bivvi and their guests in order to make sure they get the entire Breck experience. We sat down with Balazs, the General and Operations Manager of the Bivvi, to find out more about the company, where it’s heading in the future post-Covid-times, as well as where he’s from and what his coffee drinking routine looks like!

The Breckenridge Distillery is the not only the World’s Highest Distillery, they are also right across town from our Roastery! So it was only a matter of time before we joined forces to combine what we both do best: whiskey and coffee.
